> MARINA: The Princess of Power Tour_

  

 Después de la gatada de ningunearla en las dos ocasiones que ha venido al festival Corona Capital -poco faltó para que la enviaran a cantar al estacionamiento, y además con su setlist lo más reducido posible-, dicho evento canónico hizo que finalmente MARINA se presentara en la primera de dos noches con su propio concierto como parte de la gira mundial de su sexto álbum de estudio titulado "Princess of Power" (el primero ya como artista independiente).

A manera de un videojuego, MARINA nos adentra a su mundo, dividido en 6 niveles en donde, además de interpretar la mayoría de los temas de su más reciente disco -y alguno que otro de su edición Deluxe-, también da cabida a algunas de sus canciones de su vasto repertorio musical (Love + Fear al parecer sólo formó parte de nuestra imaginación). 

La artista galesa de descendencia griega, además de entregarse por completo y de tener una impresionante presencia escénica digna de otras artistas británicas del nivel de Dua Lipa, se mostró bastante sorprendida por el público, quizás pensando que no la conocíamos desde su debut "The Family Jewels" (2010), siendo precisamente canciones como "Are You Satisfied?" o "I Am Not A Robot" de las más coreadas. Una de las sorpresas dentro de su setlist ha sido una interpolación de su tema "METALLIC STALLION" y nada menos que el "Hung Up" de Madonna.

Con un breve discurso en español digno de Duolingo, MARINA agradeció el cariño del público, asegurando que creía que solamente la conocían en su casa y en Europa, pero para su enorme sorpresa no ha sido así, e inclusive mostrándose efusiva por las múltiples ovaciones que recibió en su primero de dos conciertos en la capital mexicana. 

Es curioso que existan artistas de la talla de MARINA, que ya con 16 años de trayectoria artística, aún no asimile que tiene el enorme talento y potencial de llenar un recinto más amplio que un simple Pepsi Center.
